Message of Condolences

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) wishes to express its great sadness over the recent death of Mr Stevan Porter, President, The Americas, InterContinental Hotels Group PLC and WTTC Executive Committee Member, who passed away on 7 August following a short illness.
An outstanding executive in every sense, Steve Porter contributed a great amount of time and energy to promoting the cause of our industry. He was a great supporter of WTTC, its mission and its activities as well as being Vice Chairman of the Travel Business Roundtable - our partner is the USA. Steve was extremely highly regarded; both on a professional and personal level, by his fellow WTTC Members and he will be sorely missed. Our condolences go out to his family at this time.
