Mark Harms founded Global Leisure Partners LLP in 2004. GLP has rapidly developed a leading market position as a provider of specialist advisory and principal investment services to the global leisure industry. GLP has focused primarily on large cap buyouts, advising on and co investing in over US$46 Billion of completed transactions.

GLP has assembled a network of over 35 industry Operating Advisors providing due diligence support, incremental portfolio company management and board talent and co investment capital. GLP recently sold a minority stake to affiliates of Goldman Sachs and Oaktree Capital, and entered into an Investment Agreement with them to access a dedicated pool of capital to enhance GLP's principal investment activities.

Prior to establishing Global Leisure Partners, Mark was a Managing Director at Oppenheimer and CIBC World Markets from 1987 to 2004. Mark Harms founded and was the Head of CIBC's market leading Gaming, Lodging and Leisure and Consumer Growth Groups.
