Reed Travel Exhibitions is part of Reed Exhibitions Ltd (and a member of the Reed Elsevier plc group) who manage over 460 events in 34 countries, serving 52 different industries in 16 key sectors with some 90,000 exhibiting companies and over 6 million visitors.

Tom Nutley joined Reed in 1982 and took over the reins of World Travel Market (London) in 1984 during which time the event has grown annually both in terms of size and structure, to become the major worldwide industry event it is today.

Since 1992, Tom has been responsible for the development of many travel events worldwide and the collective brand name of Reed Travel Exhibitions and has resulted in Arabian Travel Market (Dubai) and International Golf Travel Market. Reed Travel Exhibitions also handles the management contracts for British Travel Trade Fair (Birmingham, UK), AIME, Melbourne (AsiaPacific Incentives & Meetings Expo) and organise, on behalf of ICCA, the ICCA Exhibition which runs alongside the annual ICCA Congress. Reed acquired Europe's most successful incentive and meeting event, EIBTM in early 1997, and additionally acquired Top Resa (Deauville) and La Cumbre, which sells and markets the United States to Latin America and the Caribbean.

Additional exhibitions include - CIBTM, Beijing, launched in July 2005 and City Break, and the purchase of International Luxury Travel Market (Cannes), the first trade event dedicated to the global luxury travel sector.

New events for 2007 included GIBTM (Gulf Incentive, Business Travel & Meetings) in Abu Dhabi and ALTM (Asia Luxury Travel Market) in Shanghai in June, bringing the current number of Reed Travel Exhibitions' events to 14.
