Earlier known as Challenge Hospitality Co, Ltd, lebua Hotels & Resorts Co, Ltd came into existence in Bangkok in 2003. Trading under the name, "The Dome at State Tower", it has, in a very short period of time, become known for its fine dining restaurants, namely Sirocco, Mezzaluna, Distil Bar and The State Room. The restaurants have received glowing reviews in the International press, the most notable being the magazine Condé Nast Traveler.

The flagship hotel property of the Company is the luxury all-suite hotel in Bangkok, "lebua at State Tower" which is also a member of "Small Luxury Hotels of the World". The most recent addition to the Company's portfolio is a 5 star lodge at Lake Okareka in New Zealand.

The Company has a team of more than 850 committed professionals with a mix of 20 different nationalities. lebua Hotels & Resorts has a vision to give a new dimension to the word Hospitality.
