(London) The World Travel & Tourism Council in conjunction with several of its member companies has launched an advertising campaign to reinvigorate people's attitudes toward travel and tourism, and encourage them to return to their normal pattern of travel.
WTTC hopes that consumers worldwide, whose travel patters changed dramatically after September 11, will regain confidence to travel both at home and abroad, and rediscover their passion for visiting new places and meeting new friends.
The campaign: entitled Meet Your Neighbours, will appear in multiple internationally-published magazines including Newsweek and will run from January to March 2002, when travel bookings tend to be low.
