DOHA, Qatar: Qatar Airways is pleased to announce ?The Doha Golf Club as host of the Global Travel Tourism Golf Tournament set to take place on Monday May 3, 2004.
Delegates and their partners can take part in the tournament at the picturesque Doha Golf Course. Spectators and delegates alike can expect to enjoy an 18-hole championship course, with eight artificial lakes, designed by master creator Peter Harradine.

The Global Travel Tourism Golf Tournament will commence with a 7:30am shotgun start. Delegates will be grouped in teams of two. Teams will be vying for several titles including First, Second, and Third place, as well as the title of Longest Drive, Nearest to the Pin, and Most Golf. Winners will be announced at a lunch award ceremony later in the afternoon on May 3, 2004.
Qatar Airways hosted upwards of 800 delegates and 200 journalists for this year's event. Delegates included high-ranking executives of the world's top travel and tourism companies, including hotel chains, tour operators and airlines.
