Real GDP growth for Travel & Tourism economy is expected to be 4.9% in 2010 and to average 5.1% per annum over the coming 10 years.
Visitor Exports
Export earnings from international visitors and tourism goods are expected to generate 26.8% of total exports (KHR6,305.9bn or US$1,504.6mn) in 2010, growing (nominal terms) to KHR17,299.4 bn or US$3,657.5mn (28.0% of total) in 2020.
Investment
Travel & Tourism investment is estimated at KHR1,108.8mn, US$264.6mn or 14.7% of total investment in 2010. By 2020, this should reach KHR3,292.6bn, US$696.1mn or 15.2% of total investment.
