Real GDP growth for Travel & Tourism economy is expected to be 1.2% in 2010 and to average 6.3% per annum over the coming 10 years.
Visitor Exports
Export earnings from international visitors and tourism goods are expected to generate 7.1% of total exports (XAF145.5bn or US$327.1mn) in 2010, growing (nominal terms) to XAF389.9bn or US$773.1mn (7.5% of total) in 2019.
Investment
Travel & Tourism investment is estimated at XAF125.1bn, US$281.3mn or 5.4% of total investment in 2010. By 2020, this should reach XAF265.6n, US$526.5mn or 5.7% of total investment.
