Visitor Exports
Export earnings from international visitors and tourism goods are expected to generate 4.1% of total exports (CAD18.5bn or US$17.7bn) in 2010, growing (nominal terms) to CAD43.4bn or US$33.4bn (3.9% of total) in 2020.
Investment
Travel & Tourism investment is estimated at CAD27.5bn, US$26.3bn or 7.9% of total investment in 2010. By 2020, this should reach CAD59.6bn, US$45.9bn or 7.9% of total investment.
