Real GDP growth for Travel & Tourism economy is expected to be 3.6% in 2008 and to average 5.9% per annum over the coming 10 years.

Exports
Export earnings from international visitors and tourism goods are expected to generate 17.0% of total exports (BHD1,139.1 mn or US$3,029.5 mn) in 2008, growing (nominal terms) to BHD1,897.3 mn or US$5,0459 mn (22.5%) of total in 2018.
