Growth
Real GDP growth for Travel & Tourism economy is expected to be 6.2% in 2008 and to average 5.5% per annum over the coming 10 years.

Exports
Export earnings from international visitors and tourism goods are expected to generate 3.4% of total exports (BDT38.1 bn or US$543.7 mn) in 2008, growing (nominal terms) to BDT99.4 bn or US$1,099.3 mn (3.5%) of total in 2018.
