In addition to the annual Travel & Tourism Economic Impact Research, WTTC undertakes in-depth economic impact research studies on selected countries and regions. These Special Research Reports quantify all aspects of Travel & Tourism demand and translate this information into economic concepts of production. This enables policymakers within the country/region to compare the Travel & Tourism industry with other industries, and with the economy as a whole. And, is critical in informing policy and business decision-making.
The reports also outline WTTC's recommendations on policies which if implemented would optimize the potential benefits of Travel & Tourism, ensure longer-term sustainable development and spread benefits across all levels of the economy.
Montenegro is expected to be one of the fastest growing Travel & Tourism economies in the world over the next ten years (2011). Nevertheless, the Montenegro government faces certain challenges to ensure that it achieves the right kind of growth for the benefit of all stakeholders. WTTC has developed four reports focused on analysing specific aspects in Montenegros tourism with strong recommendations for its further development.
The aim of this study, undertaken bu the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) on behalf of the Egyptian Tourism Federation (ETF), is to understand the impact of the possible adoption by the Egyptian government of air transport liberalization policies on Egypt's Travel & Tourism industry and the national economy.
