Adnan is a cosmopolitan personality. Born in the foothills of the Himalayas in Pakistan, he has lived in the Philippines, Italy, France, Chile, USA and currently lives in England where he is a news anchor for BBC World News. He has a BSc Economics from the London School of Economics, where he specialised in International Relations, and a MA in Latin American Politics from Queen Mary's College, University of London. Adnan's travels have given him a unique perspective of life abroad and an acute cultural sensitivity. His has the sort of international outlook on business and human interaction that can only be reached by personally living and experiencing daily life in a foreign environment. Being able to speak Spanish, French, Italian and Urdu has given Adnan the chance to interact directly with people he may not otherwise have had the chance to meet. All of this experience means Adnan has an extremely broad international understanding, of what it means to do business abroad, of how to connect with people who come from different backgrounds, to make them comfortable and be able to relate to them in a way they understand and appreciate. These are all qualities he has brought to his time at the BBC, where he has worked as a SONY award winning radio producer, and for the past fourteen years as a TV presenter for the BBC News Channel and BBC World News.
