Police Superintendent LEE Hyuk has been a police officer for 24 years since 1993 after graduating from Korea National Police College.
Before his secondment to INTERPOL as a Regional Specialized Officer in INTERPOL Liaison Office for Asia and South Pacific at Bangkok in Jan 2014, Mr. LEE was the chief of Intelligence Bureau of Korea National Police Agency and was a senior Inspector of Investigation section.
Previous operational roles have included a diverse range. Notable achievements included managing the Operations mainly targeting social engineering fraud in the arrests of 1,500 criminals all over the world in 2016. He played a leading role in organizing and leading operations and case coordination.
As the newly selected Coordinator of IBMTF (Integrated Border Management Task Force) from April 2017, LEE pays great attention on the border management and provides operational support.
