Meet the Judges
Tourism for Tomorrow Awards judges represent some of the world's leading experts in sustainable tourism. Every year, as part of the independent judging and on-site evaluation process that is the trademark of the Tourism for Tomorrow Awards, a team of international Travel & Tourism experts is appointed to serve as the Tourism for Tomorrow Award Judges.
Our international judging panel represents different countries and geographic regions of the world, as well as different professional backgrounds, including the private sector, academic institutions, non-profit organisations and government, to reflect the multi-stakeholder engagement in Travel & Tourism.
The robust and independent three stage judging process is at the heart of the Tourism for Tomorrow Awards.
Stage 1: Applications are reviewed by a committee of sustainable tourism experts, who decide the finalists for each category.
Stage 2: Finalists are visited on-site by these experts who verify the claims made in their application.
Stage 3: A panel of leading figures from sustainable tourism reviews the applications and evaluations to decide on the category winners.
